Ticket Panels
Deploy interactive button panels so users can open tickets without knowing any commands.
What Is a Panel?
A panel is a Discord embed posted by Help Buddy to a channel of your choosing. It contains one button for each ticket type you have configured. Users click a button to open a ticket of that type — no commands required.
Panel Configuration
Panels can be created from the Panels tab in the dashboard or with /panel create. Each panel has the following options:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Channel | Where the panel embed will be posted |
| Title | The heading shown in the embed |
| Description | Supporting text displayed under the title (optional) |
| Color | The accent color of the embed border |
| Ticket Types | Which ticket type buttons to include on this panel |
Panel Buttons
Each button on a panel corresponds to one ticket type. The button label and color come from the ticket type's own configuration. You can include some or all of your ticket types on any given panel. A single server can have multiple panels deployed in different channels.
Keeping Panels Up to Date
Tip
To change the panel's title, description, or embed color, use /panel edit with the panel message ID, or update it from the Panels tab in the dashboard.
Multiple Panels
You can deploy multiple panels across different channels. This is useful for separating support topics by audience — for example, a panel in #billing-support for payment questions and a separate panel in #technical-support for bug reports.
Removing a Panel
Delete the panel message in Discord, or remove it from the Panels tab in the dashboard. Deleting a panel does not affect any currently open tickets.
